The new semi-hybrid holder 630 is an addition to the standard hybrid series 630. New variants can be implemented even faster, easier and more cost-effectively. The housing is replaced by a Mica top plate and thus ensures the required shock protection and can be implemented without complex molding tools. As a result, the holders are certified with 250V DC and T120 just like the standard series. The design of the base plate made of PBT enables the use of the standard contacts element of the 630-series with an integrated plug-in terminal.

The special micanite material ensures the high termal and electrical performance of the Bender + Wirth COB holder. Micanite is mecanically stable up to more then 500°C and thus offers considerable advantages compared to the plastic brackets otherwise used for fastening.

If several COBs are to be installed side by side, installation in the luminaire can also be simplified by using a common top plate. A multi-holder is then implemented, with which two or more COBs can be fixed at the same time.

The first variants that have already been produced in series are in use, for example, as replacement modules for the Molex holders that are no longer supplied.
